So I'm trying some new things to see if they work. Mainly because I am posting from my cellphone now and it takes too much time to write long posts, let alone recaps.

Obsession Meets Real Life - Dramabeans Regional Meet Up

If you follow the k-drama/k-entertainment website Dramabeans, you know that they put together a meet up in NYC, which led to a succession of spin-off meet ups across the globe. So I put myself out there and attended one, and subsequently met 18 other kdrama fans/guests. It's even possible we converted two non-kdrama guests into watchers! We won't stop until everyone's watching kdramas, haha. To sum it up, it was a good time meeting other kdrama fans. We met at a Korean restaurant for dinner and conversation, and then six of us relocated to the norebang next door where we harassed the guy working there to pull up k-pop songs for us. And we all got awesome commemorative shot glasses to remember that day (thanks, MAK!)

Five Fingers Mid-Series Review

Yes, episodes 25 and 26 air this weekend, but I am only at episode 13, so I'm close to the midpoint of this insanely long drama (30 episodes total).

You may be wondering why I'm doing such an early/late mid-series review. I have a bone to pick with this drama and I just had to share.

Kdrama Reviews and Ratings

Looking for something to watch but don't know what to pick in the endless sea of kdramas? Do the released posters and summaries tell you absolutely nothing about what the drama's about? Unwilling to waste your time on a drama that goes nowhere for 14 to 30 episodes? Well you're in luck, because I've cheered through the great dramas and suffered through the nightmare ones for you.

After the jump, I've listed all the dramas I've watched with a brief, spoiler-free summation of the plot and my feelings about it. I've also given each drama a rating out of 5 stars (★★★★★). If I post a star that looks like ☆, consider it a half star (so ★★★★☆ would indicate 4.5 stars). As a bonus, I've also included my Top 5 Favorite Kdramas (which will change as I watch more series).

This list is in alphabetical order and will be updated as I complete kdrama series.
